Marga Kreckel

Marga Kreckel was so talented, curious about all kinds of things, a generous host, and an irreplaceable friend. Her highly original psychology doctorate from Oxford University used a naturalistic data source – the tapes of the UK’s first reality TV series ‘The Family’ – to research communication within families. She enriched my life, starting in Aberdeen (Scotland) in the mid-1970s, through her Oxford days to her time in Nürnberg and latterly Halle. My deepest condolences to Reinhard.
